This Maaeyeorae Standing Statue, made in the Goryeo is one of Geobuljogaks and all have Kwangbae, Buddha body and pedestal. This wearing style, flown to Korea through China from India, seems to be introduced a sculpture style of the United Silla. This Maaebul with Yangpyeong-dong Stoned Yeorae Standing Statue (Treasure No. 337) of Geochang, an adjacent area, are presumed to be all formed from Buddha style at the end of the United Silla. The feet are thick, big. However, the hands are unevenly very small, and then it makes us feel awkward. This reason is thought as an error in the course of Bujo making. The pedestal is consisted of Angyeonjwa and a lower pedestal supporting it. The lower pedestal is carved Uju and Taengju. This is assumed that made, showing the style of the United Silla, as statue at about 10 century, the early year of the Goryeo.
