Hamyang Hamyang Watermill Village(Mullebangagol) Festival. In 2003, the festival's name was changed to the current 'Hamyang Watermill Festival'. Many intermittent festivals and events were combined into this festival.
The festival was be-gun to cherish the memory of Sir, Go Wun, Choi Chiwon's position and his great deeds as the mayor of the town during the Silla Dynasty and continued to develop the ancestors' virtues and to promote the local culture, art and sports as well. Being named as 'Cheollyeong' after the area's old name, the festival had been held in Sanglim, the National Monument No. 154 as well as the public arena. In 2003, they changed the name to the current Hamyang Watermil Festival; the festival is conducted in combination with many intermittent festivals and events.
